Which puzzle board fits a Springbok 1,000-piece puzzle?
Springbok's 1,000-piece puzzles finish at 24" x 30" — Springbok's own collection page calls it the largest 1,000-piece format on the market, about 30% bigger than a standard 1,000-piece puzzle. If you are shopping for a board for one, this is the page with the fit math.

Why the 1000pc XL board is not enough here
The 1000pc XL board measures 30.5" x 23.0": it is 1.0" too shallow for the 24.0" depth.

What the dimensions do not tell you
- Sorting space. Springbok's thick cut means fewer, larger pieces — comfortable to handle, but the frame takes up more table depth than a compact brand does.
- Raised borders. The surface listed above is the working area. The border that keeps pieces on the board adds 3/4" to the length and width of the board itself, so budget for that on the table — not for the puzzle.
- Add-ons are size-matched. A storage tray, protective cover or rotating base is cut for the board size you pick, so order them together with the board.
- Shipping. We build and ship within the United States only, and every board is made to order in our Idaho workshop. If you are outside the US, our Etsy shop is the better route.

Two cases where we go off the stock sizes: if the board above leaves more spare room than you want, and if your puzzle is bigger than 2,000 pieces (3,000 and 5,000 piece puzzles vary far too much between brands to size a board from the piece count alone). Send us the finished size printed on your box and we will build a custom board cut to it — carved lids, engraving, spinners, sorting trays and covers, made to order in Idaho and shipped within the US.
