What a board is made from

Boards are handcrafted from high-quality hardwood plywood with a smooth sanded surface. Each one has raised borders that keep puzzle pieces contained, and braided rope handles for carrying. The puzzling area is the usable surface inside the raised border — that is the number to match against the finished size of your puzzle.

Three add-ons are made to fit each board size: a storage tray that slides underneath for sorting and storing pieces, a protective cover that keeps an unfinished puzzle safe from dust, pets and curious hands, and a rotating base so the whole puzzle can be turned without reaching across it.

The four standard board sizes

These are the four boards that are always available. Prices are in US dollars, for the board alone; add-ons are priced per board size.

If your puzzle's finished size is larger than the puzzling area of the board you would pick, we build the board to your puzzle instead: any surface size, in the same wood and the same build. What it costs

• A standard board is $150.00 to $275.00 depending on size.
• The 2000-piece full kit — the 2000 piece board plus the protective cover, rotating base and storage tray — is $520.00, ordered as one item.
• Custom and oversize work is quoted in writing before anything is paid, and the price and the delivery date are agreed before the build starts. See the custom price bands.
• Shipping is a flat $30 anywhere in the United States, on one board or a full kit.

How long it takes

• Standard boards (1000, 1000 XL, 1500, 2000 pieces) are built to order: 3–7 business days in the workshop, then 3–10 days in transit.
• Custom and oversize boards take longer: most leave the workshop within 2–4 weeks, and the date is confirmed in writing before payment.

Where the boards ship

Puzzledaddy ships within the United States only, for the flat $30 above — one board or a full kit, the same price. We do not ship internationally: for international orders, the Etsy shop is the better route. Orders are shipped from Boise, Idaho.

If something is wrong with your board

Every board is packed by hand, but if one arrives damaged, or it is not what you ordered, email us with a photo and we will make it right — a replacement or a refund. Anything else: info@puzzledaddy.store.
